Whew. That's a toughie. Anthony deserves respect, and he's not out of line for reminding people to use his proper pronouns. But he's not being reasonable by expecting that centuries of cultural conditioning are going to suddenly evaporate, especially when his appearance conforms to a different set of assumptions than the ones he identifies with. I wouldn't fire him for it, though -- unless there were other issues with his performance and customer service.
