Time for me to re-read The Little Prince — especially now that you have illuminated its history for me. I didn't know Saint-Exupéry had disappeared, much less been "found" — and the circumstances are haunting indeed. I believe he wouldn't hesitate to forgive the 22-year-old German pilot who shot him down.
