This study first got spouted all over the news about a year ago, I believe -- just in time to add to pandemic despair. I found it demoralizing, until I parsed the language a bit: okay, so no amount of alcohol can be said to be good for the heart. But that's not to say there's no amount of alcohol that's at least not bad for the heart, right?? Yes, alcohol has a long list of casualties, and there are those for whom it is truly dangerous. But to suggest that all of humanity abstain 100% forthwith is unrealistic, to put it mildly. I'm sticking with moderation (mostly); otherwise, what's the point of being a responsible grownup?
