This is a truth that is being lived out in my own extended family. Both of my sisters require care that their children aren't equipped to provide, no matter how much they love their mothers. It's a reality that will come into play more and more as our society ages and we live past things that would have killed us a generation ago. As for the Tik Tok commenter, I cannot fathom such viciousness — and I hope you can insulate yourself from it.
