Thank goodness I'm your subscriber, because Medium most certainly did not include this post in my feed today. In fact it rarely includes your pieces (not that I bother to check my feed all that often, since it's usually so far afield of what I really want to read). Once again, my sincere gratitude goes out to you for trying to parse the mystery that is Medium, and sharing with us whatever you discover. I will indeed begin letting writers know when I read a story they've written that wound up in my feed.
