After so long of pregnancy and childrearing being solely a woman's responsibility, we've worked hard to change that — with, alas, the unwitting result that we're in danger of women thinking of themselves as victims even when sex is consensual. Anybody with a uterus has a lot at stake when they climb into bed with someone with a penis, and until we have perfect birth control and perfect people to use it, that will always be true.
