Jesse, I love how you don't mess around with inconsequentials and go right to the Big Questions. I've heard (but can't substantiate) that Buddha advised us to carry a slip of paper in a pocket on our right side that says, "For me the world was created." And in the pocket on the left side: "I am nothing but ashes." Staying in between those keeps us in balance, and in reality. Hmm.
