In this entire excellent and challenging piece, I only quibble with this statement: "Patriarchy is a man’s mindset. Misogyny is a man’s mindset." They are indeed mindsets that shore up the notorious "man's world," but the sad truth is that they are also mindsets that many women share, to one degree or another. You are right to make the painful but necessary point that too many of us are participants in our own oppression. Nothing about being a woman lets us off the hook.
