I too am in hate with my microwave, which blasts FOUR times and will not be dissuaded no matter what (unless, as you say, one catches it just before the moment of outburst). Also the people who, while working on a group project (with me) keep having ideas long past the point when it's time to stop thinking up more shit to do and get the thing done. Garrgh.
