I know -- and I'm nowhere near as hopeful as some of my fellow libs are that people with "wake up" when the Trusk admin catastrophes start piling up. I suspect that's when things will get more dangerous, because the standard authoritarian playbook in that (inevitable) situation is to whip up ever more hatred and fear against whatever scapegoat they can find.
