I have one sister in the early-to-mid stages of late onset Alzheimer’s, and another with corticobasal syndrome, which seems to be caused by tau proteins in the brain and includes movement problems along with cognitive decline. So, yep, the whole topic of inheriting dementia makes me pretty gunshy. This is me, drinking wine and standing on one leg . . .
