I don't think I know a single adult who hasn't faced this dilemma: tell someone that their spouse is cheating or keep your dark secret? It's just one of the forms of collateral damage that cheating causes. It's not the outside-the-lines sex that's so toxic: it's the deception, with its baked-in humiliation for the cheated-upon partner.
